Question by overcast: Why is it that girls get so emotionally attached after sex?

Im a girl and I try to avoid sex without a committed relationship. I have to be able to trust a guy before I can have sex with them. If I dont I end up getting hurt because I get really attached to the person after sex and guys sometimes dont when its a fling. (Ive only done that 2 times-once we didnt have sex but got close)
Why cant girls have sex without getting emotionally attached? Guys can do it...its rather strange.
